JOB
Responsibilities:
Provides a safe work environment for all personnel.
Involved in SRMP (Safety& Risk Management Process)Completion of all safety audits, scans & inspections.
Responsible for the general safety of your employees.
Assists in training of all processing and production personnel in assigned department.
Assists supervisor in updating training for existing personnel whenever equipment changes are instituted, or news procedures are implemented.
Assists with Noah feed, light, ventilation program.
Communicate with Breaking personal and Farm maintenance at all timesHelps in providing for a safe work environment for all personnel.
Also helps ensure that all production complies with food safety standards as established by Michael Foods, Inc.
Works with supervisor to help maintain sanitation standards of facility.
Assigns work tasks to department personnel.
Assist with UEP monthly requirements and auditsAssist with mortality auditsAssist with safety auditsAssist with REF (Responsible Egg Flow System) problems and complete REF reportHelps maintain control records related to processing, including but not limited to production records, safety inspections and 7-day UEP (United Egg Producers) recordsMaintains effective working relationship between members of department and other areas.
Continually monitors lines for quality product and notifies all appropriate personnel if discrepancy is found.
To follow all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements and safety proceduresTo follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) washing hands, etc.

Follow all Bio Security programsMonitors production equipment on a continual basis to maintain proper production standards.
Reports and fills out work orders on maintenance issues as they relate to productivity, food safety, quality and human safety to maintenance.
Encourage suggestions from employees which will improve productivity, quality or control cost of production.
Maintains accurate downtime records and Daily shift report of all equipment in assigned area.
Follow all UEP (United Egg Producers)/ Animal Welfare Program Guide lines.
Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained.
Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
Travel to and work at multiple locations as neededPerform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers/vendors or employees of the organization.
Licenses, certificates, and registrations required:
