Location Description:
Wakefield is one of the largest production facilities within Michael Foods.
We serve as a flex plant and are able to produce everything from a whole pasteurized egg to liquid, dried, hardboiled and curds.
Responsibilities:
The Stock Order Filler is responsible for moving finished products from processing area to the warehouse and onto trailers as well and required rotation of product.
This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value.
Ensures that all policies, procedures and activities, related to Food Safety & Quality, are followed and complied with uniformly, in an effort to reduce product and process variability.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Moving finished products from production area to warehouse.
Load finished products onto trailers for delivery.
Rotation of product using FIFO System.
The ability to learn and use the SAP (System Application Products in Data Processing) computer system.
Maintain inventory accuracy by following proper procedures and completing all the necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
Assist Quality and other departments with sampling and testing procedures.
Perform daily sanitation.
Prepare sample requests and send UPS, Fed Ex.
orders.
Assumes personal responsibility to insure safe and healthy workplace for everyone.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and, incorporate safety and health in all jobs and tasks.
Adheres to Quality work practices, follows GMP's, maintains sanitary conditions and ensures that product quality is maintained.
Reports to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety and quality.
Insures regulatory compliance at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Good communication skills.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Able to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Capability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to obtain a forklift license.
Able to understand and follow oral or written instructions.
Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
Ability to load and unload egg and material trailers.
Good mathematical skills.
Available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Ability to travel to multiple locations for work.
Must be attentive at all times and safety minded.
Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with others to complete work assignments.
Open to change.
Positive interpersonal relationships.
Able to work independently and with others in a team environment.
Self-motivated while also willing to ask questions and seek direction.
Displays responsible behavior at work.
May be required to obtain a CDL.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
